We are living in a time like no other. The coronavirus pandemic has affected how all of us go about our day-to-day work and home life. My family and I are hanging in there. We have a bit of cabin-fever, but otherwise healthy. I know times are tough for many of you with caring for loved ones and seniors, helping kids with homework and being cooped up indoors while keeping yourself safe or worrying about employment and bills piling up. My heart goes out to everyone and I hope this pandemic is behind us soon so we can all get back to some semblance of normalcy.
As fans and readers of my work, I would like to keep you updated on what’s happening in the world of Yahrah St. John if nothing else than to offer you a ray of sunshine from all the doom and gloom. On the publishing end, Harlequin remains committed to authors. They are still printing our books, though it might take a bit longer to receive them through Amazon as they are focused on shipping essential items.
More attention will be focused on e-books and their marketing in the days ahead, but print books are still available if you prefer them. In the meantime, if you’re able, please support me and your favorite authors via the e-book medium, we are appreciative. If you can’t support us now, I completely understand and thank you for all you have done thus far because I wouldn’t be here without you.
If you’re looking for something new to keep you entertained while under a stay-at home order, here’s what’s coming….
Secrets of a Fake Fiancée, the final book in The Stewart Heirs Series will be available May 2020. I hope you enjoy the conclusion to the series and find it satisfying. I’m sad to the see the series end, but ready to move on to the next story.
Spunky personal assistant MORGAN STEWART is eager to claim the family denied her. She’s been living incognito as her brother DANE STEWART’s assistant while learning all she could about the Stewarts. Morgan reveals her true identity as HENRY STEWART’s illegitimate daughter at Dane’s wedding reception and is rejected. Sexy playboy JARED ROBINSON witnesses the interaction and although he has his own family drama with his MIA brother, he’s intrigued by the fiery Morgan and offers her a deal she can’t refuse. Don’t miss reading their dramatic and sexy love story.
Be sure to check out my website for Secrets of the Fake Fiancée contest. I’m giving away two (2) fifty $50 Visa Gift cards. In these hard times, I thought everyone would appreciate the extra cash.

Here’s a snippet of the concept:
For many years, prominent families entrusted the Black Crescent Hedge Fund to turn millions into billions. Black Crescent was an elite, boutique business that took on only a small number of clients. It was wildly successful… until the money vanished along with the founder. Ten families lost their wealth in one fell swoop, forever altering the lives of everyone involved especially the teens. Each of them coped through pride, or avoidance, or lust—but the crutches have become sins….
Financial analyst Ryan Hathaway grew up with corporate attorney Jessie Acosta as his next-door neighbor. They’ve been best friends for as long as Ryan can remember, but she sees him as a nice guy and one of the lucky ones because his family didn’t entrust their life’s savings to Black Crescent because the Acosta’s lost everything. Ryan never admitted he’s carried a torch for Jessie all these years because Jessie was interested in Hugh O’ Malley whose family helped pay for Jessie’s education after her family lost its fortune. That changes at the ten-year high school reunion when Jessie suddenly sees Ryan with new eyes. Their relationship shifts from friends to lovers with an insatiable hunger they can no longer deny. But when the past creeps in threatening their newfound love, will they run from the drama or fight for love?
If you follow me on Facebook, then you know I finished another book. I can’t share the title yet, but it’s part of new Desire series on the Lockett family who own a football franchise. The four-part series will feature the Lockett siblings: Roman, Julian, Giana and Xavier. Anyone who knows me, knows I’m not a football fan, but the idea just came to me and I sold it to Harlequin. Needless to say, I’m doing a lot of research and watching football movies like Any Given Sunday, The Draft and Jerry Maguire.
One final thought, being under quarantine kind of feels like house arrest and gives authors, myself included, plenty of time to write. No excuses. For over a year, I’ve had a military series which I planned to self-pub on the shelf. I already have half the book written. I think it’s time to dust it off and finish it. Wish me luck! My goal is to have a draft complete and ready for editing by end of April. This ensures you will have more YSJ books before year-end.
That’s it for now. I’m going to go curl up with my notebook and hash out new ideas to keep you entertained. Want more info? Visit my website: yahrahstjohn.com or follow me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. As always, I appreciate your support especially during these trying times.
Your Humble Author,
Yahrah St. John
